Because of our continued affiliation with the Merseyside Snooker Alliance, we have the opportunity to enter teams into their sanctioned competitions against other Snooker leagues in the Merseyside region.

The league enters teams in the Inter-League Senior and Intermeidate Team events, along with the Winner of our Individual Scratch Championship playing in the Merseyside Champion of Champions Individual event. Sadly, the Under 21's and Junior Team and Individual events are still not being contested for the near future.

This season, we will be sending our representative teams and players as usual.
The following players will be playing for our league:

INTER-LEAGUE SENIOR TEAM:
Peter Heaps (Captain), Mark Twist, Mike Bennett, Ste Whittaker,
Andy White, Stuart Barrow, Steven Welsby, and Anthony Jeffers
1st round match (v. Kirkby League) arranged for 21/2/12 @ 8pm, at St.Teresas Club

INTER-LEAGUE INTERMEDIATE TEAM:
Jason Fairhurst (Captain), Martin Sedgewick, Ben Dooley, Rob Rigby,
Rob Dagnall, Joe Rodgers, Mark Richardson, and Ian Woodward.

In the 2009/2010 season, the St.Helens Intermediate Team, were victorious in the competition. Lets hope that all our players can bring home more success for our league!
